Kirsty joined Mitchells in 2021 as part of the Farm and Environment Consultancy in the land agency. She graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Agriculture with Animal Science from Harper Adams in 2014, and went on to work for Carrs Billington. Kirsty covered farms across West Cumbria offering nutritional, animal health and fertiliser advice, therefore giving her good commercial and practical farming background knowledge to apply to her new role.
She is FACTS and AMTRA qualified, and her focus within Mitchells is Countryside Stewardship and Environmental Management Grants, moving towards the Sustainable Farming Incentive and the Environmental Land Management scheme in the near future.
Kirsty is married with two young daughters, and in her spare time, she is involved with the family dairy farm near Cockermouth, taking on many active roles.
