On Wednesday 20th October 2021 Mitchells Livestock Centre, Cockermouth held their weekly sale of primestock with 34 cattle comprising 26 cull cattle and 8 prime bulls and clean cattle, 2605 prime sheep including 1974 lambs and 631 cast ewes and rams. On Wednesday 13th October, Mitchells Livestock Centre, Cockermouth held their weekly sale of primestock with 90 cattle comprising 70 cull cattle and 20 prime bulls and clean cattle, 2367 prime sheep including 1833 lambs and 534 cast ewes and rams. Annual Show & Sale of Swaledale Ewes

On Monday 4th October Mitchells held the Annual Show and Sale of Swaledale Draft Ewes, Shearlings and Gimmer Lambs. The show was ably judged by Ms Mary Dawson, Millstone Moor who commented on the strong show put before her. Saturday 2nd October The ‘Keswick’ Show and Sale of registered Herdwick rams on Saturday started with a show of outstanding tups.
