The annual gather of the Lakeland Fells culminated in Mitchells Auction today as a fantastic entry of over 7,000 fell bred lambs came forward before a ringside of both local and travelled buyers. A great trade ensued with all classes up on the year.   Top of £133 for Beltex lambs from AJ Wood, Woodhall Brow, Dean. A tremendous day was had at Mitchells Auction for the Annual Sale of True Traditional Lakeland Show of Suckled Calves and Store Cattle.
