Ian joined Mitchells in 2006 as a trainee land agent. He passed his professional exams (RICS and CAAV) to become a fully qualified Land Agent and Chartered Surveyor in 2008 and has now built up a wealth of experience and contacts in all areas of land agency. As a RICS Registered Valuer he is able to provide valuations for taxation purposes. Other areas of focus include compulsory purchase/compensation work and development work; not only building land but increasingly energy focused schemes (renewable energy projects and electricity infrastructure upgrade). Ian works closely with Susan Southward, also a qualified Land Agent, and considers himself to be a ‘doer more than a talker’ in efforts to ensure exemplary service to Mitchell’s clients.
