Swaledale Rams
The annual Swaledale Ram show and Sale was well supported by regular vendors who always consign some well bred senior Rams still worthy of breeding quality stock. The ring was busy with local purchasers thus producing a sale which will always prosper. Judging was in the hands of local breeder Mr Jamie Clark, Mosser who after some deliberation awarded the Cathow Memorial Cup for Champion Swaledale Ram to Mr G Tunstall, High Field House which later sold for the days top price of £2000. Reserve honours went to the Aged Ram from JA Ritson, Baggra Yeat which sold for the second highest price of £1600.
