Store Sheep
Store lamb trade continuing at a scorching pace selling to a top of £125 for Beltex lambs from J&K Meadley, High Bewaldeth, Cockermouth. Texel lambs sold to £124 from Messrs Sharpe, Holmecroft, Beckermet. Suffolk lambs sold to £115 again from J&K Meadley, High Bewaldeth whilst Mule lambs from the same good home sold to £97.
Many more could have been well sold and are required for extreme demand.

Store cattle
Another grand trade for all classes of store cattle topping at £1365 for a Charolais Steer from BW Noble, Gibbtarn, Beckermet. Angus steers to £1295 again from BW Noble, Gibbtarn. Heifers sold to a top price of £1325 from Messrs Hodgson, Croft End, Beckermet.
