On Wednesday 10th August 2022 Mitchells Livestock Centre, Cockermouth held their weekly sale of primestock with 37 cattle comprising 22 cull cattle, 10 prime bulls and 5 clean cattle, 1693 prime sheep including 1210 prime lambs and 464 cast ewes and rams.
Prime cattle sold to of 264ppk for a Charolais bull from P&PI Walker, Beechcroft Mockerkin. Top gross was £1726.35 for a Limousin bull from P&PI Walker, Beechcroft Mockerkin.
Outstanding ring of buyers once again stood tall making prices very strong throughout all categories.
