On Wednesday 21st September 2022 Mitchells Livestock Centre, Cockermouth held their weekly sale of primestock with 67 cattle comprising 53 cull cattle, 14 prime bulls and clean cattle, 1,729 prime sheep including 1341 lambs and 388 cast ewes and rams.
Prime cattle topped at 257ppk for a Limousin Bull from Messrs Teasdale, Lowside, Troutbeck. Top gross was £1941.84 for a Limousin Bull from TA Byers, Ellenbank, Boltongate.
