Prime cattle trade on fire selling to 305ppk for a Limousin Steer from AG&KF Nicholson, Swinside End, Lorton. Top gross was £1781.20 for another Limousin Steer from AG&KF Nicholson, Swinside End.

An outstanding show of cows sold to a tremendous trade producing some phenomenal returns. Cows sold to a top price of 275ppk for a Limousin from I&R Millard, Old Hyton, Bootle. Others to 250ppk for a 14 year old cow from AG&KF Nicholson, Swinside End. British Blue cows to 245p from P&PI Walker, Beechcroft, Mockerkin.
The top gross was £1933.25 for the aforementioned Limousin cow from I&R Millard, Old Hyton closely followed at £1930.60 for the Blue from P&PI Walker, Beechcroft. Simmental cows to £1773.75 from BW Hewitson, Shatton Lodge, Cockermouth and Charolais cows to £1770.06 from I Powley, Green Marsh, Carlisle.
Dairy cows topped at 205p for a Holstein from Tallentire Hill Farm. Friesian cows to 198p for a 6 year old from Wellington Farms, Aspatria. Top gross was £1505.90 for a Holstein from TG&K Fisher, The Glebe, Carlisle.
