Prime cattle sold to 272ppk for a Limousin Bull from AW Williamson, South View, Carlisle. Holstein Friesian bulls sold to 234ppk or £1333.80 from WE&DE Litt, Greengill, Gilcrux.

Cows sold to 240ppk for a Limousin cow from JA&CM Brown, Park House, Isel. Others to 238ppk from P&PI Walker, Beechcroft, Mockerkin and 238p for a Beef Shorthorn from Mrs J McNay, Manshall Hall, Aspatria.
Black and whites sold to 207ppk for a Holstein from JD Hetherington & Son, Blue Dial, Allonby. Top gross was £1683 for a Holstein Friesian from B Burrough, Waites Farm, Pardhsaw.
All Limousin cows sold averaged 228.67ppk or £1467.13.
All Holstein Friesian cows sold averaged 177.42ppk or £1207.55.

Others to £168 for Beltex hoggs from Messrs Richardson, Low Garth, Bewaldeth purchased by Haighs Butchers, Pow Street, Workington. Texel hoggs to £167 from Messrs Fraser, High Flatts, Gilcrux purchased by West Scottish Lamb.
Top per kilo was 336ppk for a Beltex hogg from Messrs Richardson, Low Garth, Bewaldeth again purchased by Haighs Butchers, Workington.
