Store cattle trade continues to be buoyant with plenty of demand around the ring. Top of £1875 for a Limousin Heifer from W&PA Walton, Low Kinmont, Corney. Steers sold to a top price of £1575 for a 12m old Limousin Steer from T Trafford & Son, Peter House, Bassenthwaite.

All classes of ewes and lambs very good to sell and another fast trade. Top price £205 per life for a 2 crop Beltex ewe with single lamb at foot from Woodhow Farm, Wasdale. This same good home sold an outstanding run of Beltex and Texel ewes to average £150.87 per life.
Hoggs with lambs sold to £140 for Texels from JA Ritson, Baggra Yeat, Uldale.
Fell ewes topped at £62 for Herdwicks with Texel lambs from R&A Ellwood, Undercragg, Broughton in Furness.
