Market Report for Wednesday
On Wednesday 30th August Mitchells Livestock Centre, Cockermouth held their weekly sale of primestock comprising of 31 cast cows and 4 prime bulls, 1045 prime sheep including 1010 prime lambs and 535 cast ewes and rams.
Cast cows were noticeably dearer on the week with quotes of 10p per kilo being most sellers opinions with many more required.

We are seeing a split trade throughout with fed lambs much dearer than straight grass fed lambs.
