On 27th September 2023 at Mitchells Livestock Centre, Cockermouth held their weekly sale of primestock comprising of 81 cast cows and cast bulls and 11 prime bulls and prime steers, 2202 prime sheep including 1784 prime lambs and 418 cast ewes and rams.
A change in the weather fetched more cow numbers out. Trade remained competitive with all sellers delighted. Cockermouth sale ring is the place to be.
