A seasonal entry sold to a stronger trade being dearer on the fortnight. Top of £1565 for a Limousin Steer from Messrs Crowe, Cubbin Farm, Irton. Heifers sold to a top of £1495 again for a Limousin from Messrs Crowe, Cubbin Farm.

Just over 1000 lambs forward and a good entry for the time of year with all classes in keen demand and a strong trade on the back of the fantastic prime trade. Top of £110 for Texel lambs from JB Stephenson, Punderland Farm, Workington. Fell lambs to £80 for Swaledales from JY Elliot & Son, Newsham Farm, Hutton Roof.
