On Wednesday 6th March 2024, Mitchells Livestock Centre, Cockermouth held their weekly sale of primestock with 23 Cattle and 1763 sheep including 1198 prime lambs and 565 cast ewes and rams.
Cast cows sold to a top price of 287 pence for a young Limousin from J & E Scott, Mid Farm. Top gross of 1931.55 for another cow from J & E Scott.
