The Tommy Baxter Show and Sale of store cattle was on Fire!! The quality on offer was unmatched and had to be seen to be believed.
The show was kindly sponsored by Hundith Hill Hotel, Carrs Billington, Brockbanks Solicitors and Cumbria Free Boilers.
Judging was in the esteemed hands of Mr & Mrs Layton from Herefordshire, who did a fantastic job.
The Baxter Perpetual Trophy for Champion was awarded to Messrs Lamb, The How, Seascale with their 10-month-old Limousin Heifer which later sold for £3400 to the judges. Reserve honors went to Messrs I Powley, Green Marsh, Carlisle with their British Blue Heifer which sold for £3400.
