On Wednesday 10th July 2024, Mitchells Livestock Centre, Cockermouth, held their weekly sale of primestock with 22 Cattle comprising of, 2 Prime Cattle and 20 cast cows and bulls; 590 sheep including, 386 prime lambs and 204 cast ewes and rams.
All classes of cull cattle sold well at prices similar to the previous week and in line with the regional trends. More cattle could have been sold to vendors advantage.
