TOMMY BAXTER SHOW & SALE OF STORE CATTLE
The Tommy Baxter Show & Sale of 1058 of Store Cattle was met by a massive crowd of both local and travelled buyers. Trade had no let up from the first beast into the ring to the last.
The atmosphere here at Mitchells was buzzing all day long, with both buyers and sellers enjoying their day.
The pre-sale show was kindly sponsored by Carrs Billington, Cornthwaite Group, Hundith Hill Hotel and Dodd & Co Accountants. Judging was in the capable hands of Miss Fiona Jowett who we thank for her time.
Championship was awarded to a tremendous Limousin heifer from TW Bell & Son, Hill Top Farm, Reserve Champion was awarded to a wonderful Limousin bullock from I Powley, Green Marsh.
Top price of the day was £2900 this was achieved three times trough out the day by I Powley, Green Marsh, MJ&JE Graham, Lynedraw Farm and J Brown & Sons, Crakeplace Hall.
