On Wednesday 22nd January 2020 Mitchells Livestock Centre, Cockermouth held their weekly sale of primestock with 51 cattle comprising 27 cull cattle, 10 prime bulls and 14 clean cattle, 1441 prime sheep including 1144 hoggs and 297 cast ewes and rams.   Another good show of Clean Cattle maintained recent high rates. Collective Machinery Sale On Friday 17th January 2020 Mitchells Auction Co Ltd. Held a collective sale of Machinery and small tools within the Lakeland Livestock Centre. Top of £1155 was achieved three times, firstly for a Limousin Steer from Messrs Robinson, Gateghyll; then again for another from IR&JM Fearon, Frizington Hall; and finally again for a Limousin Steer this time from Messrs Hodgson, Croft End.
