Later in his military career he served in The Military Police and was awarded The Police Medal For Exemplary Service, the group also has a 1905 Educational Medal for Two Years Perfect Attendance, two Festival Of Britain English silver crown pieces minted in 1951 and a German 1914-1918 bronze commemorative medal inscribed "For The Fatherland" and The Defence Medal 1939-1945.
