A Japanese Satsuma vase, Meiji period, with two small gilt loop handles on the shoulder within a band of butterflies, main body with quail amongst flowering peony and a river, two character signature for Kinkozan: and a miniature Satsuma cylindrical vase, Meiji period, having a narrow neck with diapered shoulder, the main body with panels of Bijin against a wisteria ground with insects, gilt mark for Senzan. 9.2 cm and 7.5 cm respectively.
