Six tumblers were made, this one was presented to John Blackstock the contractor who built the bridge on the Newcastle and Berwick Line, the bridge sometimes referred as The Tweed Viaduct as it has 28 semi circular arches each spanning 19m in a gentle curve (see illustration).
