Thomas Russell & Son Liverpool, an 18 ct gold cased half hunter pocket watch, the exterior with Roman numerals opening to an enamelled dial marked Thomas Russell & Son Tempus Fugit Liverpool, with Roman numerals, the rear of the case engraved SM, both outer covers and inner dust cover stamped 18, the interior dust cover also engraved "Presented to SH Morris MB as a mark of esteem and high appreciation from the inhabitants of Frizington and District on his leaving to join HM Forces November 1915. NOTE: Sidney Herbert Morris was born at Great Bowden Leicestershire 1876 and was a medical practitioner at Thirlmere House Frizington (Cumberland/Cumbria), the watch was then sold to Joseph Yeomans of Cockermouth in 1917, for more information see Dorking Museum Heritage Centre.
