On Wednesday 17th October Mitchells Livestock Centre, Cockermouth held their weekly sale of primestock with 57 cattle comprising 48 cull cattle and 9 prime bulls, 2816 prime sheep including 1741 lambs and 1075 cast ewes and rams. On Tuesday 9th October saw Mitchells Auction Co having their annual sale of Swaledale breeding sheep.
