A fantastic entry of store cattle was forward for the Anniversary Show and Sale which attracted a tremendous ringside of buyers ensuring that all classes sold to a wonderful trade taking into consideration the rising price of straw and feed. On Wednesday 15th  August  2018, Mitchells Livestock Centre, Cockermouth held the weekly sale of primestock with 64 cattle comprising 29 cull cattle and 27 prime bulls and 8 clean cattle, 3504 prime sheep including 2231 lambs and 1273 cast ewes and rams, presented for sale to a full ring of buyers.
