On Wednesday 29th January 2020 Mitchells Livestock Centre, Cockermouth held their weekly sale of primestock with 67 cattle comprising 34 cull cattle, 18 prime bulls and 15 clean cattle, 1581 prime sheep including 1239 hoggs and 342 cast ewes and rams.   Prime Cattle continue to sell to high rates at this centre delighting vendors. Collective Machinery Sale On Friday 17th January 2020 Mitchells Auction Co Ltd. Held a collective sale of Machinery and small tools within the Lakeland Livestock Centre. Top of £1155 was achieved three times, firstly for a Limousin Steer from Messrs Robinson, Gateghyll; then again for another from IR&JM Fearon, Frizington Hall; and finally again for a Limousin Steer this time from Messrs Hodgson, Croft End.
