The Great Annual Lakeland sale of 4,549 Store Lambs and Continental X Gimmer lambs was held on Saturday 19th September. This Annual harvest of the Lakeland hills in turn attracted a keen ringside of buyers ensuring a strong trade was witnessed with long keep lambs proving easiest to sell. On Wednesday 16th September 2020 Mitchells Livestock Centre, Cockermouth held their weekly sale of primestock with 69 cattle comprising 53 cull cattle and 16 prime bulls and clean cattle, 2470 prime sheep including 1753 lambs and 717 cast ewes and rams.
