On Wednesday 4th September, Mitchells Livestock Centre, Cockermouth, held their weekly sale of primestock with 38 Cattle comprising of 4 Prime Cattle and 22 cast cows and 12 bulls: 1440 sheep including 1042 prime lambs and 398 cast ewes and rams.   Today we had a larger show of cattle forward to a usual ring side of buyers. Today here at Mitchells Auction Company we held our fortnightly sale of Store Lambs and Store Cattle.   STORE LAMBS A nice entry of store lambs was forward which included long and short term keep sorts. Many more lambs could have been sold to vendor’s advantage, with a large ring of local buyers present.
