The resulting sale prices were above expectations with many sellers being very satisfied. On Wednesday 4th September, Mitchells Livestock Centre, Cockermouth, held their weekly sale of primestock with 38 Cattle comprising of 4 Prime Cattle and 22 cast cows and 12 bulls: 1440 sheep including 1042 prime lambs and 398 cast ewes and rams.   Today we had a larger show of cattle forward to a usual ring side of buyers.
