  The Fellmans Gather sale of 6800 store lambs was met by a full ringside of both local and travelled buyers ensuring a fast trade was seen for all types.  An average of £71.91 was achieved, which was £20 up on the year for over half the sale being hill bred lambs. The annual show & sale of Lakeland suckler calves had a fantastic run of calves forward to full ringside of local and travelled buyers with all vendors leaving with a smile on their face after todays trading. The sale topped at £1840 for an outstanding blue heifer from J & E Nichol.  Bullocks sold to £1650 for a Limousin from W Atkinson & Son Demesne Farm. Bulls sold for £1440 from J Hodgson Woodend. Monday 7th October 2024 Monday 7th October, we held our Annual Show & Sale of Bluefaced Leicester Rams and Swaledale Rams. Judging was in the capable hands of Mr Murray Craig, Thrimby Farms.
