Our August Show and Sale of Store Lambs was expertly judged by Stuart and Connor Miller, Allerby Hall. Champion was awarded to a fine pen of Beltex Lambs consigned by Messrs Allen & Dickinson, Windrush, which later realised £124.   With an abundance of grass in the surrounding countryside and strong Prime Lamb return, we had a packed ringside of buyers ensuring an outstanding trade was achieved for all types. The special 150th Anniversary Show and Sale attracted a wonderful catalogued entry of 851 with something to suit every requirement.   The day kicked off with a pleasing show of cattle kindly sponsored by R.A.F. Engineering Ltd, Rickerby Ltd, Dodd & Co and professionally judged by Mr Ricky Alder.
