On 27th September 2023 at Mitchells Livestock Centre, Cockermouth held their weekly sale of primestock comprising of 81 cast cows and cast bulls and 11 prime bulls and prime steers, 2202 prime sheep including 1784 prime lambs and 418 cast ewes and rams.   A change in the weather fetched more cow numbers out. SUDC UK CHARITY LAMB Friday 15th September 2023 Mitchells Auction Company held its 150th Annual Show & Sale of Mule Gimmer Lambs. P&PI Walker & Son, Beechcroft kindly donated one of their Mule Ewe lambs with the proceeds of the lamb going to a charity which is close to so many SUDC UK (Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood). Friday 15th September 2023 The yearly sale of 7403 Lakeland north of England mule gimmer lambs was conducted to a huge ringside of travelled buyers which have supported this sale for many years with a splash of new buyers whom are hearing how good our lambs are.
