On Wednesday 24th May 2023 Mitchells Livestock Centre Cockermouth. Held their weekly sale of primestock. Comprising of 49 Cast Cows and Bulls, 1146 prime sheep, including 151 Spring Lambs, 582 Prime hoggs and 413 cast ewes and rams.   Prime cattle met a strong demand from the usual ring of buyers.
